One-up your fellow golfers with a couple of these easy swing improvement tricks.
 

Golfer (i) Twist
Muscles/area activated: Lower back

 

  1. Stand with feet slightly apart, place hands through ends of Loopz overhead. Inhale.

     
  2. Exhale, turning torso to the right so that both shoulders face side wall and either arms are pointing towards front and back of room respectively. Hold position for 2-5 counts.

     
  3. Inhale and turn torso back front to starting position. Repeat 10 times. Repeat other side.


    NOTE: Can be done sitting down.
 
Un-slouch
Muscles/area activated: shoulder joint and deltoid
 
  1. Stand or sit with posture erect. Slip hands through ends of Loopz, stretch outwards behind body so band is taut and arms are pointing upwards and downwards respectively. Inhale.

     
  2. Exhale, drop shoulders and pull arms outwards and upwards as much as you can so the band is pulled even more tautly. Feel the shoulder blades pull together, press navel to spine and feel an extension in the neck. Hold position for 2-5 counts.

     
  3. Inhale and relax into starting position. Repeat 10-15 times. Repeat with other arm on top.
